W1 D4,5,6 and 7

Woo hoo! First week finito : )
Legs are feeling a bit achy, and feet are sore, but overall very pleased with progress so far.

On day 4, I did a late night one hour run, at normal pace around the backstreets of Nakameguro and Yutenji, with an added 5 minutes of hill work. Although the pace was easy me legs sure did hurt afterward - pretty still, so I rubbed Tiger Balm all over them and that seemed to relieve things.

Day 5 was a rest day, and I celebrated by attending a leaving party at an Irish pub, drinking 2.5 pints of Guiness, which didn't help matters much the next morning, for day 6s 4 miles! Still, once finished I felt fully awake and it kept me sharp all day.

So, today was the long run, and Joseph and I ventured out to Shinmaruko, and Tama River. Nice weather, so the junior baseball players were out in force playing their matches, as well as a bagpipe player and a trumpet player. The ground was mostly grassy, so much softer than our usual concrete runs, which by the en of 8 miles made a big difference.
